I want to create a sort of slide show to display on my website just under my website name. I figure I should make the slide show in GIF format. What is the best suggested GIF creator. Any free ones out there. Thanks alot! Heres one of my gifs that somone else did for me, but im not sure what program it was. it was an AVI file to start with. I modeled the guitar in a 3D modeling program then created a simple spin animation, and rendered as an AVI file.

I would typically use Photoshop for animated gifs, but since free is an issue you can try the GIMP. It aims at being a free Photoshop clone. I'm not sure if it can create animated gifs, but it won't cost anything to find out.

Yes, GIMP can be used to make animated gifs. I've made tons of animated gifs with GIMP

I actually sometimes go to animator.iconator.com/animator.php. It works pretty well!

GIMP by far is the best "free" graphics editor both static and animated
