I'm redesigning my site using the great advice that I found here, and I was wondering your opinions on what is to be my new banner:

Its a little hard to see the L and the D other than that its pretty nice.

Well, at least you realized they were an "L" and a "D"... hehe... Thanks, is it mostly just hard to view near the tips, where the line gets thinner?

Well the whole letters are too transparent and kind of vague as to what the letters actually are They don't look like L and D I just piece it together based on your signature.

Other than the D and L(which look cool but are just hard to read) I like the looks of it.

You might want to boost the contrast (levels) on the center graphic there. The text has a nice look, try to get that color in the middle thing, id say.

I agree about the L and D, they are very hard to read. Also, the main text could be made a little bit larger

at first i couldnt even see that there was an L and D. You could make them bold? I know of a great font:

then look around for
Abadon.
It will look better, but be aware that this font doesn't include full stops and all that. It only does letters.

I would use a different font color on the right side...it is too much text to use the same power font...either smaller, more opaque, or a different font.

I would try and make the L and D much easyer to see...
all I noticed was the D, I couldn't see the L.
