Hi guys, I'm new here and I have just about lost all my sanity trying to figure out what the problem is.

Ok, I have front page 2000, and I'm making a site, a very simple one, just the home page is killing me!

Basically I have a header and a footer. On the footer itself it says "home | about | news|" so on and so forth. Now when I try to make a hotspot anywhere on the footer, and I go to preview, there is this blue border around the entire footer which I can't get rid of. I have looked at the border and hover options thinking maybe something is enabled, but I just can't figure it out.

Please help!

Thanks guys.

You should be able to set the image properties so that the border is of size 0. That will fix the problem.

well actually I tried that, borders and cell padding and spacing on the image are all zero.

The footer is ok in Normal mode and in Preview mode, but when I add a hotspot to a section of the footer in normal mode and then go to preview mode, that blue border appears. I have tried the help file and i have no idea where its coming from.

Could you post the HTML code for the image or a link to a page where this happens?

That's just another reason I went with DreamWeaver MX! Frontpage gave me fits, but to try to answer this question, I found that FP would always look different to me in "preview" then look another way after I actually uploaded. This may or may not be your case, but you could try to go ahead an upload your site and see how it looks. Just my $.02
