Hi, I hope someone can help me here cause I'm at a total loss. I'm working on a site for a friend. She wants a site with a garden feel but no actual flowers - something sort of abstract. Here is her description of what she wants.

My definition of a floral feel is more of a blending of colors, sort of abstract, mostly a medium to darker blue with highlights of rose and green sort of. A quiet elegance

I have been searching for backgrounds online and even tried to make my own but just can't come up with it. Is there anyone on the forum who could help me out or point me to a location where I could find such graphics. Am willing to pay a small fee for a good texture.

Hey Connie, have you had a look around DeviantArt ? Look for Belleza Art Stock, she has some wonderful stuff that might work, but there are lots of others too.

Thanks all. I agree about the wide border and yes - it is a bit bright LOL. My original design for her was much more contemporary...but...this is what she wanted.

I think it's because she isn't tech savy and has very limited internet experience. All the sites she likes are other yorkie breeders who have dated site designs as well. I have a feeling I'll be running into that quite a bit. Basically these will all be glorified personal sites sooooo it's whatever they like LOL.

I kinda thought that might be the case.

I'm doing a re-design for my brother's Corvette Club's web site which he's now in charge of. Talk about 'dated' sites.. most of the car club sites are so bad they make my eyes hurt to look at them... lol. I sent him a mockup yesterday... they'll have one of the slickest, modern club sites on the web when we're through .
