I would like to create a menu like the one on Blueyonder.

it's the one with the rollover images. ie, one colour when not selected, but when the mouse goes over th tab it changes colour.

if you don't know how to make the roll over try asking google about javascript rollovers

If you mean the menu on the right of bluyonder ("quick links") that looks like CSS to me.

The menu on top however has me baffled.

The menu at the side i can do without CSS (i try never to use it which is probably un-professional) I mean the top nav. I have had a look at the source code aswell and it has me baffled (which in the way of HTML/DHTML/Javascript is pretty hard to believe). They use a code well beyond my skill.
