Ok i realize color theory Is very Important when dealing with Graphic design.And every other type of Design.What are some sites that tell you Which color's go with each other.

Popular color's? what are some color's that are very popular these day's on the web? What color's catches alot of people's eyes? And make them want to go back to that specific website.

I'm not much into the actual "theory" of colors. I just use what looks good in my designs.

There are a bunch of good sites out there with color palettes. Doing a google search I found ColourLovers, which I've seen before. There are lots of 'theories' on how to use colors, but I just do what I think looks best. Changing with saturation and tone really help when making a layout, but a little bit of extra color is definitely worth it! I usually stick to one color range except for one that I use as an accent.

Keep in mind that one could fill volumes on color theory. In the traditional additive color wheel (ie, mixing paints) complementary colors are used for maximum contrast. You will see that sports teams use complementaries frequently. Then there's the effect of warm colors vs. cool colors. Warm colors excite quickly, but the excitement dissipates quickly. You'll see a lot of fast food chains use them for that reason.

I think colour theory is mostly dependent on subject matter (I'd also second Kuler). Eco-sites should be green, blogs tend to be neurtal, and gaming/fantasy/violent sites tend to be dark. It's all about the sought of idea that a colour conjures up in the reader's head. Of course, this varies massively - Europeans tend to use white for death (as in Lilies, and in the Far East extensivly), but also black. Blues tend to clash with each other, whereas pastel colours tend to compliment each other. That's my opinion, anyway.

O yes color schemes play a huge roll in the minds of your visitors. for example check out the site in my sig and look at the color scheme there... its pretty beautiful
