Ive been searching everywhere to find some sort of basic vine pattern so that I can trace over it with the pen tool in Photoshop; but I just cant find anything!

This should help to explain what I mean; notice all the curly vine-type patterns.

Yeah I agree that vines are awesome (I know you didn't say that ). I had the same problem when I was looking for vine-style for my site. I ended up taking a high definition picture of a pillow case with the design I wanted, then used magic-wand in PS and altered it to my liking. Do something like that!

There are TONS of free brushes for that kind of things, take a look around DeviantArt.com. You might also take a look around www.bittbox.com, he had some brushes, vectors and tutorials in the last year.

Thanks for the tips. I did end up managing to figure out how to create some myself! It took a while but it turned out quite simple in the end lol.
