Hey all,

Okay so i have a logo design


but it seems most of the feedback i get say they dont like it, so im guessing i need to get something new so i can get rolling

And i need something which fits with the colour theme (http://xdnet.co.uk)

I want something which is simple and can be used on a small scale in an email footer as well as the main banner on my website.

Im happy to offer 6 months, or maybe more if its just amazing, of free webhosting to who ever design i use.

Well, your avatar IS effectively XD. Why not use a variant of it? I'd go with a different font, as well.

i like your logo. seriously.
well, maybe why some people don't like your logo is that they think it's not a logo after all
they just see a green circle next to a text. maybe try to compact your logo and avoid having space around...

Okay i have a couple of people working on the Logo in exchange for a link, got a few prototype designs from one person and know theres a couple of others doing a few designs so im looking for a variety designs to select the final one.

My personal opinion is that your logo idea is great, and just needs some re-touch.

remove that ball from the left, do a little anti-aliasing, make that text a little high-quality, remove that drop-shadow (looks awful), add reflection to the text, instead of the "flowers" use normal black dots, and make that tagline smaller and light-grey.
And there you go, a perfect professional, simple, web2.0 logo.

Try this and see how it looks on your website.

Well im crap at design, hence why i didnt even make one to that quality

The dots are a bit rubbish but its the font (rezland) its a shame as well that the font doesnt include CAPs or any special characters

If someone would like to modify the current design to make it better im happy for that too, you dont have to make a completely new one just a better one which looks better and works better at differant sizes etc... also would be good if everyone likes it

Thanks for the designs but im not sure if it is just me but i find them a bit flat, (if that makes sense :s) and i would like something smooth but the text looks too blocky and old CLI..

What kind of font do you want?

Too much drop shadow!

ps. your drop shadows are not even on the same settings which make it unnatural.

If you use a drop shadow, make it look more natural!

I can do it in any font you like, just a simple quick revamp of your current concept.

actually the font I used doesn't have caps either haha

I don't recommend the "XD" in caps, but I'll see if I can find a nice font similar to this one to use it for the caps
