I`ve heard some people touting the "named-anchor" feature in Flash as an answer to some of the accessibility issues inherent in the Flash platform.
In theory, "named-anchoring" allows deep-linking, bookmarking and forward/back button browser navigation.
Unfortunately though, as far as I can tell, it only works in Internet Explorer.
There might be some kind of work around but I don't think its easy or robust.
