Agreed. It seems to be lacking something. Maybe a different contrasting color for the background.

Really Simple, don't use BG due to complications to mixe it with different medias: Paper, web, stickers, etc. and a bit more of contrast iin te colos of the letters would be nice, make them shine! no, don't add a glow, just use colosr that make more contrast, like #a40f0f that gives more the impresion that you need to be donated xD

I would make also the shadow stronger, make it notice, it gives a very nice depth ilusion .

I like your use of color and how the layout of the logo appears. Might I suggest making the lines in the logo more defined., just a suggestion. Great job!

I'm a Graphic Designer, I quite like it. I like the lowercase mixed with the all caps underneath. I like the band aids in I'm guessing neo colours. I would't change anything.

I would change the background color.
