Does anyone know a method of getting a color code of color on a image?

open it in a image tool, use the eye dropper/colour picker

The colour picker looks like this:



Just click on that and drag it to the color you want and the code will look something like this: #FFFFFF (white) depending on your choice of course.

Did you know you can get an colour picker add-on for firefox (browser) Just goto mozilla.com in the add-on section an search it.

There's another way using Kuler from adobe Labs - kuler.adobe.com
Go to 'create', then you can upload your own image and it will make a color palette from it.

Instant Eyedropper is a free software tool which will identify the color code and automatically paste to the clipboard.

really awesome software that can help you with color blending and it can help you with the color code you're looking for in a image.

If you use firefox, you can use the colorzilla plugin. I've been using it for some time now and find it essential tool for web designers.
