My 9 year old loves to draw and he's a pc addict so I am looking around for a very basic program with which he can work with on the pc instead of on paper but it has to be something which will be fun for him, any ideas please? Thanks.

I know it may seem a tiny bit advanced but Bamboo makes a cool drawpad that my kids use all the time. It comes with coral draw(basic version and other software too) which is very easy to use.

Your child can draw on the tablet and it shows up on the screen via usb. I use mine all the time for graphics.
http://www.wacom.com/bambootablet/bamboofun.cfm for info.
I got mine at Best buy. They make one suited for younger kids as well I think, but bamboo is not too advanced for a 9 year old who is uses a computer often. There are other brands, I'm not endorsing only this one.

Hope this helps!

Thanks but I don't know if this may be for him as I need something with activities to keep him interested, if it's up to him simply drawing, he'll spend maybe 15 minutes and that's it.

Good point...

Fisher Price makes one with activities for around $50
http://www.fisher-price.com/us/produ...t.asp?id=40693

Also other sites with projects:

http://www.coloringpage.org/

Do "online drawing kids" search on google. There's lots!

I don't a 9-year old kid can use Corel Draw in an easy way. The interface of corel draw is not a very user-friendly one.

Well guys, to be honest, I am stumped, I bought the fisher price game and now have to resell it, he used it once and that was it. I have to assume that he simply likes to draw on paper whenever he feels like it?
