I had this logo made by a developer, why only gave me a gif file. Can someone name the font used for FPS tactics.com?

I think I paid $5 for this some time ago on digital point. I have no knowledge of, or way to contact the developer.

The closest I can see too it is at http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/capearcona/ca-no-dr/alarm/..

The designer may have used his own effects on the font?

Andy

forget whatthefont.com

Goto 1001freefonts.com and search it, you have a huge list of free fonts for windows or mac, or linux for that matter. Just use that site to find it, if you search you shall find...

Good Luck

Wow, I have never really thought about how hard it would be to do this, but I really don't know where you would start with this one. I would put a post on the site point forums and see if you could find the guy who did the image.

The closest you are going to get is to browse other fonts similar.

http://www.dafont.com

Even if you can't find the original font, you can find one that is very similar. Those fonts are a dime a dozen.

I think Andy Pugh's assessment is correct and it's a (somewhat) standard font that has had effects applied to it. Look at the three C's. They're each a little different.

I found it! I knew I had that font, just kept passing it by. It's called "dirty ego".

http://www.dafont.com/dirty-ego.font

At least it looks exact to me!
