Hey everyone,

I'm doing a favor for a family member who's opening up a new company and told them I'd design a logo for them and encorperate it into a letterhead for them.

I have not had much experience in designing letterheads, do you just make them in whatever graphic design software you like than when adding content do you print out letterhead than print content onto it or what?

I've always been in web design area so never used letterheads to often lol.

Thank you!

Letterhead can be done in a couple of ways.
They could take the logo and have the letterhead printed and then they just feed that into their printer, or, they can put the logo into the header of their documents and just add their text as normal.

Yea thank you that was what I was thinking. For the "put it in header of the document" you just mean like say they were typing it up via Microsoft Word, they just insert their logo into the header correct?

Well, some letterheads that I did is just very plain and simple.

Just a logo, company name, address and phone number on the top most part of the paper will do with some simple fonts that could make it more neat and professional looking. You don't need stuff designs and wacky fonts on a letter head. Just make it simple.
