I am temporary using Windows 98 on my computer.

Although they are old versions you'll still need to pay for them, as i'm sure your aware its illegal to obtain software without purchasing a license to use it.

If you own it on another machine that isn't in use then technically you could use a backup copy to install it on your other machine but if thats the case then surely you have the original disks?

You could try ebay and see if anyone's selling it off cheapp?

I don't really know the answer to the question, but I just though I'd say:

Even though Ebay is very good. It's not very good for computer programmes (lots of scams that ebay can't prevent).
