I have seen a thread where a poster offered a prize ($50) for help with a new logo for their charity. If anyone is interested in doing the same thing, we are in dire need of help. We used a Vista Print design, but our nonprofit is growing and needs a logo of our own that really gets our mission across to the public.
We are a Down syndrome support-education organization (very very small, and located in a rural area but still covering a large region) called Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society (I know, it's long). We just received our first grant to start our new education center called the REACH Center (Raising Expectations And Creating Hope) where we will offer both multiple student classes and one-on-one tutoring to children with ANY intellectual disability. We do tons of programs, including educational workshops and conferences, Buddy Baseball, social events, etc.

We really need a logo for us that isn't childish (we serve adults with Down syndrome) and perhaps a logo for our REACH Center which we are moving into at the moment.
And if this is totally out-of-line, just tell me or ignore it. I appreciate your help...and your insight. (I do all our brochures and marketing materials, but I am at a loss when it comes to a logo!) |
