All of a sudden, I am having trouble saving files in adobe illustrator... it gives me an unknown error.. also it says there is a font permissions problem

Anyway, Im wonder if any of you can save an .ait file to a .ai file or esp file?

Sounds like it may be trying to embed a copyrighted font.

try using Type -> Create Outlines before saving.
