GIMP or GNU Image Manipulation Program is free image editing software that can match Adobe Photoshop. I have been using it for almost 2 years in most of my graphic works.

Anyone in the boards who is a GIMP user?

I think for most it takes time to get used to it. I'm not a graphic artist or anything. But I also found it on par with PS for my uses. I mainly like the fact that it's free.

That's why I really liked it. Plus it can also read PSD and ABR files that are being used by Photoshop.

I play with it from time to time too.
More, recently, since I've got a tablet pen.

Wow. 2 years in a row? I thought every graphic designers out there usually use Adobe products. I play with it sometimes. But in terms of designing, I always use Photoshop.

Being more of a programmer, GIMP my graphic tool of choose. Reboot from linux into windows just to make a graphic, too time consuming. GIMP has most of the normal graphics tools, plus various script to automatically make logo etc.

I think photoshop is still the best when it comes to photo and image manipulation.
