Right now I have a huge designers block. I need some good idea's for a logo. Maybe you folks can help with tips for a good logo. Maybe some examples?

i like the last one the most, because it doesnt seem as spread out

I'm partial to #2 but get rid of the brown marks - they take away from a VERY good looking logo.

I like the #3 one but i think you may want to remove brown stripes or make them smaller

HAHA- I like the first one BUT like the others the brown stripes have to go

I typically shy away from starbursts. The last one you posted is visually interesting (minus the starburst), but I'd move the dore.com part down.

But here's the most important thing you haven't told us: What's it a logo FOR?

I kinda like the second one, but the colors don't really go together. It's a lot better than i could ever do.

what does it look like at a 'normal' size for a logo? whne it's printed for example or only say 200px wide? it's just that the lines are abuot 4 times wider than the todore bit and when you reduce the logo you're not going to be able to read it properly?

think about how easy it is read at a normal size

These logo's should be used for a new somewhat personal site.

I like the second one but without the lines, will allow you to make the logo more readable at a small size if you get rid of them because your logo (the main part) will then be twice the size it is now.

Top one, over this post (first one). Keep it in white and maybe make "dore" a little bit bigger. Maybe try it in green, but I like the contrast... so maybe it won't look good.

And then I think it's simple and stylish =)

I like the first one on your 2nd post. Just 2 posts above this post. Glad you eliminated the yellow blast effects on the first post and made it a little more bigger. The first one won't definitely suit for a logo.

On the newer design I like the second one the best, without the added dore.com, on the starburst effect I noticed you used a darker green on the first design maybe, that one is very nice also, although without the starburst effect.

i like your logo but i think that the white color in background was much better better ... i also didn't like the brown stripes
