Yeah Swift is pretty good and it works finely with Macromedia Flash, together they can do you some awesome flash intros, animations or sites. Another program called 3ds Max is very good, at drawing and animating, and it has a animation builder includede. The only bad thing is that it is so more heavier than Swift, but for sure a lot better.

Depends on your use,

if you are going to use it for websites I suggest swift.

If not then Use 3D Studio Max.
Some other good programs you can look up:
Truespace 6.1
Maya
Rhyno
Lightwave

Happy hunting

Hi,

I want to create virtual walkthroughs of buildings and output artists impressions for a client that is building an urbanisation in Spain. It is going to be sold pre-plan so there's actually nothing there, just architechts plans at the moment.

This would also need to be displayed on the internet and CD rom presentation. Possibly making use of VRML or some other techology.

I've heard that 3D Studio Max is a good package but I imagine that it will take forever to learn. Has anyone had a go with any other 3D packages that are less complex?

Or are there any 3D designers out there that would possibly want the job to do this?

It's a 30 million pound build, so they will not be scraping on advertising and marketing.
I'll be designing the web site but I'm reluctant to get into the 3D side of things.

Are you ofering any of your services? Please PM me. There's a very good drink it in!
