Yes I do have photoshop but I prefer using GIMP, I find it very easy to use.

Is anyone else out the addicted to GIMP like me?

I think it's like running a marathon with a gimp leg. haha
I learned on Photoshop and am pretty efficient with it. My philosophy is if it works, don't fix it.(most of the time)

Haha Nice one, best line ive heard all week!

I do admit it to begin with it was very time consuming, now ive got the hang of it I'm pretty good at it. Photoshop for me is very complicated! I learnt of GIMP and find it more easy to get the job done.

I guess it's a case of spending more time on Photoshop to figure out its capabilities.

Yeah, they are 2 way different animals. It really seems like there is 2 different demands for each of them though. I wouldn't say one is superior than the other, just different. In my opinion, GIMP is more advanced and harder to use than Photoshop, because of the interface of GIMP. No doubt, the argument is reversible to a GIMP user.

I've just started to use it and so far I like it, not quite as easy as photoshop though.

It's open-source. I say Gimp is very useful for the begginer. Other then that it's a waste.
