Hi,

I created a banner using Paint.net to act as a link to a product page on my website, but I want to make it more noticeable.

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...Banner7890.jpg

Does anyone know of a generator I can use to make this banner flash or spin ? Not sure what I want yet, but I will know it when I see it.
Also, the background of this banner is made up of sections of a round icon which I downloaded, I just cropped a square section from it and joined the pieces together. It has a very "shiny" red polished finish, but the icon is too small to do anything with, only 128 x 128. Where can I find this type of shiny finish on a bigger scale, so I crop sections out to make banners ?

Thanks in advance, Mickmac

Like, a 360 spin and then it stops?

Well, you could make it a gif, which it is, then load it up into flash or something and tween it to be very thin, then stretch it out again, except mirrored, stretch it in, and mirror it again, leaving it normal, and stretch it back out...

It's complicates, but it works.

To make it attractive you need to redesign you banner. It looks dull. you can add some SWF effect or flash animation to make it more attractive.

Please try this one:

Its totally free software. Hope it will help you. After you download you will just need to modify the images only. then you will find same effect for your banner.

That'd be pretty hard to do with just flash.. you could try downloading a trial of amorphium pro (im pretty sure you can export with it..) because this sounds like a job for a 3d program.

I would recommend just using a better looking font and style so that you don't need to stand out with bad gif animations.

Here, I have designed just a sample of a better looking banner:

It's true, gif animations look so cheesy and old now. The sparkles and shines... random color changes. I find it extremely annoying. I would prefer just something pleasant to look at. Sometimes, I avoid clicking banners because they annoy me with overly flashy gifs.
