I have had several designs presented and keep going back to original logo we designed (though I am not in love with it)
Really want to incorporate the .com and needs to be bold enough to see on a yard sign and clean look to fit in with clean look and feel of soon to be redesigned site..

Yeah you certainly need logos that are more "brandable". You can head over to the contest section of this site and browse a few contests to see whose style you like the best and then contact that designer.

There are some good designers. I like to think I am okay =P
