I have made a logo for my site
www.andersfloderus.com
but I am not very happy with it.
My graphical knowledge is very rudimentary, I used
Paint to make the logo. I am sure it is possible
to make it better looking, for example by changing
proportions (I want a simple looking site with
straight lines, no advaced fonts). However, what I
find most irritating is the ragged look, is it
possible to make the lines more smooth?
I know that colors can look different against
different backgrounds but look at the upper left
corner. Could the background and the F in the
logo be the same? They should both be c9c888
but the logo looks so much darker.
Would the logo look better with a dark purple
background? To compare, I put both variants in the
left and the right column.
Any suggestion to improve my site is welcome.
I am using colors from kuler.adobe.com's
"corporate etiquettes" palette
1f313a dark blue (not used)
757d3a olive (not used)
c9c888 green-brown (left column)
f5f5cc light green-brown (right column)
74263b dark purple
