I just started doing graphic and web design. I finally got used to cs4, but love to have the newest of everything. Do you guys think that cs5 will be THAT much better? Like I said, I'm just starting out. I'll post my first logo in the other forum after this one.

I definitely want it and will get it...... eventually. It's got a lot of really cool new stuff. One of my professors showed me some of the new features. In Photoshop the 3D tool is enhanced with all kinds of neat tricks and easy to learn too. The new brushes are amazing - and the accuracy of masking is like I've never seen. Even hair can be done accurately and fast!
In Flash its got some really cool animation tricks and in Dreamweaver you don't have to know any code even if you want to change something small. I haven't had a chance to see anything in Illustrator which is my favorate program, but I'm hoping to when school starts up in August. I won't be taking any Illustrator classes but I'm sure if I ask I can get one of the teachers to show us.
At my school the prices have been fluctuating between $459 and $503 for the Premium version which is the one I'm interested in. It's a 75% savings off regular price. I almost wish I had not bought the CS4 when it came out a year and half ago.......
