PLEASE HELP ME

So I lost my .fla file,
then i used SoThink Decompiler to get .fla,
then i used Flash CS4 to edit my .fla
then I exported it back to .swf,
but I get 100 errors total.
I was wondering if anybody could look at them, maybe fix em..
Im just a beginner in flash cs4 so i dont really understand them...
If you want either the original .fla or .swf, I can send it to you.

Heres a link to a screenshot image of my errors...

In my experience, there isn't a Flash de-compiler out there that will adequately bring back everything, especially Actionscript. I know the free trial version of SoThink doesn't even do actionscript.

I had same type of issues with Decompiler. Try Sothink SWF Quicker... not as many broken links. Good luck!

Since .swf is the finished product and now displayed by browser and it is compiled and can be protected from editing. You'll be needing to open a .fla file, you can edit it using flash 5. But if you are trying to open a .swf file using flash 5 you wouldn't get all the options you want.

SWF decompiler is not a good way to go, as it often produces broken files. if you need just a change something like images, text or link then use SWF editor like this one:

FlashDigger www.flashdig.com

Also you can try google for other tools.

The decompilers are not able to restore the original file source. When in this equation enter the Action Script the problem becomes bigger. Decompilers works fine just for simple files.

Pay someone to redo the work again, and keep backups, I used a flash decomplirer a long time ago [3-4 years], it was a long time ago and I've forgotton the name, I think it was called swf browser or swish or something anyway they're not really designed to rebuild flash animations, they're really just to see how someone had built their flash videos, to pull images out etc.
