I have a jpg file. Initially, I thought making an animated gif would do what I want, but as I've thought about it, I don't think so.

What I want to do:
1. The jpg has 6 men standing side by side, facing the camera
2. I want to select one of them and have them fade out of the picture... then another... then another... then I want the entire picture to fade into a new one... I guess I could do the animated gif, but it would be a bear. I would have to erase each guy I wanted to fade, then go from the original > original - 1 > original - 2 > original -3 > new...

I have Fireworks MX Version 6.0... is this sort of thing possible, or is there an easier way?

Thanx

You'll still need 6 images, that you fade between using flash. You've got to somehow get in there and edit the picture, for one thing you have to fake out the background, ie what's behind the people once they fade?
