Hi guys, I'm new to the forum.
I have been searching quite extensively trying to figure out which software to use and how to begin to create illustrations similar to those of the style used as the background images on the Bill Bailey website: http://www.billbailey.co.uk/
I have used photoshop, illustrator and fireworks quite alot, but mainly for logos, and photographs.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Regards
Lupylu

Any decent graphics software plus a graphics tablet could do that.

..

Just that the user of the software needs to be a talented artist first.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a wacom cintiq 12wx, just wasn't sure whether to use photoshop, or if any other software would be better.

Yes i have to agreee with every one else a tablet and photoshop will do the trick but most important are having some really good brushes you can use illustrator for starting the main shapes of the characters then move to photoshop for the color and detailed painting.

Or you could possibly get away with using zbrush.

I think you can use make of add-ons and plug-ins of photoshop to produce a very good logo/image..there are so many quality enhancing plug-ins available on the net for free to use....last thing is use google..
