In my opinion, the simpler the better. But transfer wealth of meaning, that would be fantastic and attractable.

First, you need to change your design because there's something with you color scheme. Maybe change color overlay for each images will be better and more suitable for your brochure. And one more, brochure about traveler can have more extractive color, brighter...

There are too much bored in your brochure! That's all.

I think the biggest problem here is in your "talk about the design, not the idea" comment. The first step in any design is to understand the purpose of the design...

- What are you trying to say
- Who are you trying to sit it to
- What do you want the people you are talking to do after reading it

Without those fundamental "ideas" in mind, the design itself cannot be considered good or bad against any real metric. Beyond that, it becomes a case of "like" or "dislike" which isn't how any marketing materials should be judged.

At least, that's my opinion.

Paul

When I think of a brochure, something to hand out. What size will this be? Are you planning on having this graphic folded into thirds and the text content inside?

Pretty elaborate brochure, thinking of the ink expense when printing out...

ya That's what I thought too Giselle. This would be very expensive to print with all that color. Not only that but how will it be folded? Because you have 4 pics on it and if you're going to fold this three way then one of the pictures will be cut off. You need to make those pictures fit inside the fold lines.

Also I cannot stress enough how important it is to first know what your message is. In other words what are you trying to say or sell? Then who is your target audience? You have to consider the customers needs and wants. Without a clear idea of what you want to say and who you want to say it to - you'll wind up spending a lot of money without any results. Get all of this down on paper BEFORE you create your design.

Hey its not a brochure its like a web template . Re design it with actual banner size.
Also put some highlighted points on it.

you can't possibly design a brochure without first knowing what you want to say. that way you could get all the elements and put them together intuitively

Sorry to say but it's not a great design.

Firstly, you've got no margins on there.
Secondly, it's messy, check your alignments.
Thirdly, it probably won't print particularly nice, given the complexity of the gradients.
Fourthly, the colour choice isn't great, it looks dated.
Fifthly, the type is horrible. Different sizes on the same line: no no.
Sixthly, it doesn't really communicate "travel" particularly well, other than the jet image.

Start again. Pick more appropriate colours (research colour meanings). Place a grid on the page before you start work. Choose a better font.

Sorry to be harsh, but it's full of errors.
