Have my first exam in collage tomorrow but have to say I am not prepared at all, mainly because my lecturer is an idiot!
Could do with some help getting answers to these before then to help me understand the exam questions they are all image based questions.
1: Explain the process of digitizing a grey scale image. what is the storage requirement for a grey scale image?
2. Explain the following terms and say why they occur : False Contouring & Spatial Aliasing.
3. A 10cm x 15cm colour picture is digitized using 400 rows and 600 columns. Each colour plane is quantized using 8 bits/pixel/colour.
Q :how many total pixels will there be?
Q :how many colour shades will there be?
Q :how many colour combinations are possible?
Q :how much memory will a full colour image require?
Q :how much memory will a black and white image need if using 32 different grey levels?
