not sure if this is the right section. I am looking for a program pay or free that converts mov to swf so we can add to out site, Problem is most converting programs do not convert with player controls.
Would like to have a play/stop buton on movie. (it is our company commerical) not when we convert it plays over and over. We would like something that web user can control

thanks

Convertors simply convert the format and the control may or may not convert.

Try Format Factory

Nothing will convert and ad controls. A great value for the money is coffeecup which is like $250 License for life with a ton of great little apps. http://www.coffeecup.com.

Otherwise just post to any number of free sites like youtube and embed it. Or create an FLV and put it in flash and add custom buttons.

On coffeecup, I use the form builder constantly and the video player occasionally. There are about 100 different pluggins. Great support as well.

Hope this helps

My knowledge is concern i think swf files are normally use for the flash games sites.I think we people need to understand this and share some more about this with others as well.

Rather than go through the conversion you can also upload the video to youtube (yes they support .mov) then just embed the code on to your site, much easier than converting it, also converting the video may degrade the quality
