i'm new to this forum, this is the kind of forum i was looking for a long time
i also do freelance jobs at freelancer.com, never knew they had a forum....

ok.. i would like to know what you guys think about my logos..!!! for logo designs at freelancer, i always try to bid with a mockup.. but i'm not successfull in winning bids..
so i wanted to know if i'm doing something wrong or needed some improvemnets ...!!!

here are my logos:
1. this is for a fantasy football website, the main object required was a football shoe.


2. domin selling website: wanted a bat in it...and wanted it to be funny..!!


3. Stock related website, needed a clear and professional looking logo. whated the words "learn the edge"


these are just few..!!! plz let me know your comments and suggestions for me to improve....

Focus more on the text rather than on the illustrations ;P

If you have a copy of Adobe Photoshop, here's a long list of tutorials. The thread is a couple years old, some links might be broken, but still worth a try.

A graphic theme does add to a domain name, especially like the fantasy football, Batty Domains, it's cute and funny!

Logo design does not look professional.

You should alway create you logos in a vector graphics program like CorelDraw or Illustrator. Creating in an image editor like Photoshop will limit the usability of the logo.

that's not to say you couldn't use PS to make a 100% vector logo, though of course it would be more appropriate to do in illustrator or other vector app.

and axisgraphics did you have permission from Nike to use a trainer with their logo on it?

I think that they look decent,a good starting point, the first ones is the best of all of them
