How do you design a page layout so that it looks ok in any size window.
Is it trial and error with autostretch or is there a general rule to follow?

It seems to be a standard for designers to design approx 750 or 800 pixels wide - so it fits the standard screen resolution. They then use % instead of fixed widths on tables to make sure it scales to the viewers video resolution
