You are totally correct. Isn't that why you buy a program that has stock for you to start with. Then move on from there. I wanted to get something up to start with. Now I'll move on to more original stuff. Actually some are more than slightly altered.

I still love the aeroplane. Been playing around with the program myself today. Have you tried the alien head graphic?

Not yet. But if you think this program is cool buy Ulead cool 3d studio. Now that is a sweet program.

What does that offer?

Well to start with it will let you make your own 3d objects. Give them motion. It will create overlays for video. The text effects will blow you away. I use it mainly for creating opening menus for my DVDs. You can also create great text in cool 3d then save the project and open it in studio. Hard to explain there are so many things the program will do. It cost a lot more than cool 3d but I think it is worth it.

I use Ulead GIF animator for banners. It's boring.

This is Ulead Cool 3D not gif animator. And it's not boring at all.

Well, not to be mean, but people aren't going to like your logos if you just modify a template thing in Ulead. You need to learn how to create your own customized creations. I'd recommend Photoshop. Unless you don't have the money, get Paint Shop Pro.

I'm not making logos to sell. If you go to my site the first line on my page is ( I want to show anyone who stops by what can be done with a few good programs and a little knowledge.) As I have time I will make more of my own creations. Everyone uses Paint Shop Pro. I have Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw 8, When I'm ready I think Ulead has much more to offer than Paint Shop. I like the effects it has to offer. If I was making logos to sell then I would care more if someone liked them. I'm just showing what programs have to offer. As far a money goes that has never been a problem.
