i have just designed my website mainly on photoshop
but when i download it via ftp it does it but then shows whte boxes with red squares..

you probably either didn't upload your images or have them in the wrong place

You should check if you have those images and if they are in the right folder. Also check the links (html) in your page.

Where's the site? I didn't see a link.
