My website has a .swf image that I wish to convert to .gif so I can create an image map (I do not, nor am I capable of purchasing, Mac. Flash). Any ideas how I can do this - free and simple ??? Thank you.

Is it animated at all? Print screen will work if is not animated, (not sure of the keyboard shortcut for it on Macs - then you'll need to paste into a graphics editor and cut out the bit you want, save as GIF). If it's animated then you'll nedd to hunt for some software to do it, or option-click the .swf when it's playing and use the pause option to screen-print a sequence of frames you can put in an animated gif.
