Good Evening all,

I have been doing graphic design and photo editing for a while, and what I saw on the screen is exactly what was printed out. I use paint shop pro 9 and X by the way :-)

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a new emachines tft monitor, and for some reason since getting it all my designs/photos are printing off really dark, with what seems like a slight sepia tone to them.

I am using an Epson Photo R200 with original epson ink, and have done all the checks with the printer which all came up as ok. I have also reinstalled the printer driver, and am at a loss what to do next.

Even some of the designs that I did prior to getting the new monitor print off too dark, and even if I try to lighten them with psp, they dont look right.

Someone said about setting up colour management which I have read up about but so not really understand it.

All I want to do, is set my pc/printer/psp to print pictures/graphics as I see them on my monitor. I have some urgent work to do for someone for a funeral and the pictures are coming off looking awful.

Any advice will be gratly appreciated.

In PS, there is a function to assign/convert to a certain colour profile, probably also known as colour management. I have no idea how to do this in PSP, but I found this page that might help: http://www.khiba.com/PSP/Fall02/11702.htm
