I submitted a logo sample with a bid on a freelance project. They liked my sample and they have asked me for a 3 color sample of the logo I submitted.

I'm not sure how to give them what they want or even what they mean. The logo I submitted was all done with colors that each have an RGB value although I did use a mask for textures and highlights.

Are they looking for a sample that only has 3 colors in it? If so, does it mean they neeed to be web safe (8bit?) colors, or do they just need to have a value on the RGB scale?

Or do they just mean they just want the logo to contain only 3 colors?

Does this sample qualify as a 3 color sample?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm... this sounds like something you should ask the client. They may just want a logo with three colors like your example. I doubt that they mean that they want the rgb equivalents or the rgb seperated into layers.... usually this is only done for printing and uses cmyk not rgb.

I believe what they want is the image have only 3 colors - but this seems unusual if its for website. Did they specify which colors they want you to use? Tell them you need more clarification.
