Hello I have designed a website in dreamweaver and uploaded it into heartinternet web hosting. When downloading the site in the web host the pages and text are visible but none of the images are. I have checked the tags on the images in dreamweaver and ensure they have the correct URL and they are set as site root in the source option. Please help!

If you're new to this, maybe you didn't realise you have to upload the images?

If you have, make sure your files are located in your /www directory - not the "root".

Yes I have uploaded each image into the web host and in the select image source in dreamweaver the URL is /www.dinarexchange1.co.uk/Prices_files/topright.jpg

the relative to box is site root

Is that leading '/' present in the html or is it some dreamweaver code? If it is present in the code view, I think it should be removed.

Can you post the URL of your site?

Did you do the upload via FTP? If so, did you upload the images in binary mode?

Hi yes the pictures are in binary and if I remove the \ at the start of www. the image disappears from dreamweaver completley!

The URL would be still helpful
