Im trying to make a banner.
It will be just a few large words.
I would like to make icicles hanging from the top down thru the words.

Anyone know of some tutorials using Macromedia Fireowrks?

Easier with photoshop. Find a good picture of icicles and lay it on top of the text you want it on. Seperate layer.

Select the text - then select inverse - hit delete on the icicle layer - waahlaaa text with icicles.

Why you are recommending that keithkiss use photoshop when he wanted a fireworks tutorial beats me!

There is a thread here that was about ice text, and there's at least one png you can save to your pc to dissect if it's good enough.

For the same reason I do not recommend Power Pointless to Flash. Some programs are better for different things.

And not everyone has access to every piece of software you do, so a photoshop tut is useless for someone who only has fireworks available.
