Hello. Im having trouble with flash.
Its fairly difficult to explain but here goes:

I wanted to make a link on my first flash page load another flash page in the same place
I have successfully done the link;however, the result of doing so creates a mask to the first sceen. At first I thought that would be fine and dandy, but things are beging to transfer over to the second page like the button i make for example to load the second page. I mean its faily ovious there is a page underneath page 2. I was wondering is there a way i can make page one go away while im on page two?

I tried several combinations none seem to work (any help)

Another issue I am eventually going to face is. what happens if the want to go back a page, and they are currently on a higher sceen: than the page that there at they wont be able to see it?(any help)

are u talking about showing one movie clip (page) and hiding another ?

You can try:

m1._visible = false;
m2._visible = true;

to hide the clip m1 and show m2.

You use scenes.

On press goto scene 2

You put the button in scene 2 as well but reverse the link on press go to scene 1 and stop.

Or you can tell it to go to a specific frame. On press go to frame 100 and stop.

On press go to frame 1 and stop - goes back.
