I have an index page made of html and css with some .swf files integrated. These swf files take some time to load, so i would like to make an intro page with a preloader that preloads the swf files that are on my index page. This preloader should just be some percentage or loading bar. But the problem is, i dont know how to preload external files (swf files in this case).

I hope this is possible, and that someone know the answer

I think it is not possible to make an intro page with a preloader that preloads the swf files that are on your index page. But you will be able to do what you are saying above if you create your entire site in flash and by using some JavaScript code you would be able to preload your intro page and after it loaded your intro (swf) will have a code that will load the other swf file.

But I have another possible solution for you that I always use it, I think it will be better to add a pre loader for each swf file that you added in your html pages.
