I throughly apologize if this is a stupid question but I need some direction and guidance.

How do I know if I have Flash?

What files, etc... do I need to check for?

I know (at least I'm pretty confident) I have Flash player.

All comments will be greatly appreciated.

What do You want to know?

Do You have Flash (Macromedia program) or flash animation on web page that You browse ?

Simply right click on animation and You'll find information about is it flash or animated gif animation.

Try to poen a webpage containing a flash object...

If you can watch videos on google video you have flash.

Maybe this is a better way to say it?

Well I would think you would remember having paid for it since it's not exactly cheap, but if you ever did install it and assuming you're running some versions of Windows it would be in:

C:\Program Files\Macromedia\

That's the default install location.

It would also most likely be showing in the All Programs menu through the Start button. You would see a Macromedia option in that menu which would have Flash inside it.
