Can someone tell me how to blur the edges of a mask layer??

I have tried adding a layer in between the mask layer and masked layer and then copy and paste the mask layer "cut-out" to that layer, then use the radial tool in the color mixer color with white and grey. This doesn't work.

Does anyone have an idea of what I am trying to do and if so, is there a solution out there??

I don’t think that I understand you but if you want to blur the edges of a mask layer you should blur the shape that you use as a mask. You can do that by going to the:
Color Mixer
Choosing Fill Style (for example: Radial)
Then the most important step is to put your values in the Red, Green, Blue and Alpha boxes.
If you choose Radial you will need:
R: 255
G: 255
B: 255
Alpha: 0%

Maybe create a PNG in Photoshop with blurred/faded edges and use it as the shape for your mask layer?
