I am a logo designer and I'm working on my portfolio for my work, but for the time being just look areound different forums to see some of my work.

Well I was wondering what softwares you use for your logos? I use photoshop, logo design studio, and AAA logo.

I am thinking about buying freehand or illusions, but I'm not wanting to pay 600$ for it.

P.S. if anyone wants to send me their Illusions through a email zipped file, please do I will tell you my email adress, I want to test the system out before I buy it.

Any of those things are so easily done on Photoshop, or for that matter any other graphics program. There's no need for a specialized "logo design" package.

"logo design" software do not allow one to use imagination and creativity. One has to do with whatever options/effects that are built in and the graphic libraries which come with the package. They are totally inappropriate for custom designs which mid to large-sized companies require. They do however provide very small entities a cost-effective option to get a quick, yet generic-looking logo.

The tool of choice for logo design should be a good vector design software like adobe illustrator, CorelDraw or Freehand.

Try searching for a free vector graphics editor, I'm sure there are a few good ones out there (I just can't think of any of the top of ny head - sorry)...

i m using corel draw to create every unique logo or design...
