I've only used a tablet at my old work, but my job was not graphics design, so I can't really say either way toward that aspect, but it did have a bit of a learning curve, about a week of decent use for me. I deffinately want to pick one up to really improve my graphics skills.
Was this for the graphics contest for the dogs choice website contest? It looks great, keep at it.
