Image/Page Resize Question

I just finished designing a site. The client wanted 800 * 600 with no horizontal scrolling. However, when I was designing and writing the HTML for the site, I did not consider the size of the scrollbar, so now when the page is viewed in 800 *600 browsers, it still requires horizontal scrolling. It totally did not occur to me while I was designing it, but I learned my lesson the hard way.

Well I could redo everything and make the page layouts 780 * 600, but is there any other way where I can avoid this??? Like is there a command in dreamweaver to reduce the size of the page to be 95% of the size that the page is created in? Or is this just wishful thinking?

Please help!

Don't want to redo the whole site,
Elaine

its hard to say without seeing the page. but resizing images through html will result terrible quality. I would redo the whole thing in flexible tables. <body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0"><table width="100%"> etc

yeah it looks like i will have to redo it.
I should add that the site has a lot of graphics. I used photoshop to slice the images, so all the images are of a fixed size. Will the "flexible table" you suggested work in this case? I would really like to do another version that can be viewed on different browser resolution settings.

Thanks!!
