A logo design contest for souperwoman.com has just ended and the entries can be viewed here http://photoshopit.wordpress.com/200...ries-are-here/ - Feedback is good.

I like the third down as well. Just wish the S and W in the steam were a little more obvious.

hand's down, chris sagin's is the best concept. Other's have focused way too much on "soup" and "super" part of the name and less on "woman". Chris however has effectively captured all three things quite effectively.

by the way, the Superman logo's title is still owned by DC, so its not advisable to use it in a design as has been done in #2.

I have to agree, Chris Sagin's design appeals to me the most.

#6 (Austin's).

I can't vote for Chris Saign's because I can't figure out what the hell it's supposed to be. It just looks like something out of Picasso, and if I have to figure it out, I don't like it.

#1 isn't bad, but it's a little too Valentiney and not soupy enough. It also wouldn't reproduce well on a business card.

Neither would #3 although I do like it.

#2...see the earlier comment on copyright.

#4 just doesn't look right.

#7 reminds me of the Beetlejuice handwriting for some reason.

#6 is the only one that has any kind of symbolism related to the concept AND would reproduce well in offline material. It also meets the "easy enough to remember" criteria.
