I am re-working a website for a childrens cancer charity and have a 460x497 gif image that I would like to resize to about 100x100 for the logo. I have done a normal resize (presently being used) but there is a serious loss of quality and I was wondering if it is possible to convert the image to a scaleable format?
If it can be done, is there anyone who would be prepared to do it? I don't really want to fork out huge amounts of money on a programme I'm likely to use only once.
Corel trace does a pretty good job with black and white images. Even when using minimal complexity and node reduction I feel the number of nodes is excessive but you do get a good vector you can resize.
Adobe illustrator is the answer, i already did that for you and looks good as vector, just that i can`t upload the file..it`s bigger than 100 kb allowed...
