A business name formed from the names of my two children: Vincent and Adria makes Vindria.

What I've come up with is attached below.

Which of the two do most people prefer? Which is the easiest to read?

What I tried to do was get an even amount of letters from each name (when the kids figure it out, I don't want no fighting. xD), so the middle D is both a D an C, sorta... You get it, right? VINC... DRIA...

I doubt many people will realize what you did with the c/d in either design, but I do like the idea nonetheless. Just don't really know how practical it is to try and pull off.

The combination of the name is nice and meaningful to you. Doesn't matter if anybody else gets it or not and it's quite unique.

Of the 2 logos, I prefer the style you are going after in the second iteration, however, the "A" effect is not working, for me. You can achieve that effect using another font. And if you do want to make the "c/d" combo stand out, then you need to work it with overlapping or something. If you want it subtle, then, leave it alone and work that "A".

Also, try different colors to see what looks best.

I don't like the font used for industries.
